Making small quantities of wine from the highest quality fruit is half of our goal here at Covington Cellars. The other half is to make our guests feel like family. Founded in 2002 by David and Cindy Lawson, this is a true labor of love. Our fruit comes from some of the most respected vineyards in the state, including Pepper Bridge and Seven Hills Vineyards in Walla Walla; Klipsun and Kiona Vineyards on Red Mountain; Kestrel and Olsen Vineyards in Yakima and Stone Tree Vineyard on the Waluke Slope. Our wines are hand crafted, gravity fed, and allowed to age gracefully in a combination of French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels for 18-36 months. These high standards and constant attention to detail allow us to make wines with depth, interest and elegance.
